RCQ-2D Geophysical Instrument is a fully digital, modular geophysical logging system developed by RanCheng Machinery through more than 20 years of continuous engineering upgrades. Unlike traditional systems-where one surface instrument works with only one probe-the RCQ-2D Geophysical Instrument allows a single host unit to connect a wide range of logging probes. It performs power supply, command control, and data acquisition through one 3.17 mm single-core armored cable, supporting up to 2000 m logging depth.
All downhole tools transmit A/D-converted digital signals through encoded, bidirectional communication. This design provides high resistance to noise, stable data quality, and real-time operation directly from the PC interface. With a total system weight under 120 kg, it is highly suitable for field geological surveys across mining, hydrology, coal exploration, oilfield logging, and environmental investigations.
The system can measure more than 20 formation parameters-including SP, natural gamma, resistivity (potential & gradient), acoustic velocity, amplitude, temperature, deviation, caliper, fluid conductivity, liquid level, magnetic components, susceptibility, and polarization-meeting diverse field requirements.

Full Downhole Digitalization & Coded Signal Transmission
Every probe performs A/D conversion in-situ. Signals are digitally encoded and transmitted bidirectionally through the cable. The system also features built-in error correction and robust anti-interference capabilities.

Oversampling for High-Resolution Formation Data
RCQ-2D Geophysical Instrument automatically increases oversampling when logging speed decreases, improving digital filtering and resolving subtle formation changes with greater vertical precision.

Compact, High-Pressure Downhole Probes
Probes are typically Ø40–50 mm with lengths of 1–1.5 m. Stainless-steel housings withstand pressures of 20–40 MPa and temperatures of 70–90°C; optional builds support pressures of up to 60 MPa and temperatures of 120°C for extreme environments.

Integrated Lightweight Logging Winch
The 1500 m armored cable completes power and communication simultaneously. The winch includes automatic spooling, depth encoder, and integrated controller-yet the total system weight remains under 120 kg.
