Water Level Meter

A: Water level gauges are also known as "water level sensors" and are used to detect water levels (water surface height). Monitoring and observation are conducted to grasp water levels at sewage treatment plants, sewers, rivers, dams, reservoirs, and agricultural water systems to prevent floods and water damage.

A: Your water meter records how much water you use in cubic metres (m3). There are 1,000 litres of water in a cubic metre.

A: As the fluid level rises or falls, so does the float. As the float moves up or down, the magnet assembly rotates a series of bi-color magnetic flags or flaps, changing the visual indicators mounted just outside the chamber from one color to the other.

A: To check a water level sensor, start with basic visual checks for power/damage, then use a multimeter to test continuity or output signal while varying the water level, looking for expected changes as water rises/falls, or test pressure switches by blowing into their tube and listening for clicks while checking continuity on terminals.
