Key Features
The RC-1C Seismic Vibration Sensor adopts a fully independent node architecture in which each station operates autonomously. It eliminates the need for conventional geophone cables, enabling flexible deployment even in complex terrain and improving the overall stability of field operations. GPS-based timing ensures synchronized recording, while local SD-card storage allows data to be safely retained at each station until recovery. The system supports either built-in or external geophones and maintains quiet acquisition conditions due to the absence of real-time cable transmission. With continuous recording capability of up to 25 days, the RC-1C Seismic Vibration Sensor is suitable for long-duration monitoring, microtremor surveys, and large-array seismic projects.

How Does a Seismic Vibration Sensor Work?
Field deployment begins with entering station coordinates using a handheld terminal. Once the Seismic Vibration Sensor is placed at the designated location, the internal GPS module locks satellite signals to establish precise timing. The sensor then starts continuous data acquisition automatically based on preset parameters.
Each node uses its built-in Seismic Vibration Sensor to capture ground vibrations independently and store the raw waveform data locally. After the survey, the nodes are retrieved and connected to data collection and charging racks for batch downloading. The recorded data are then transferred to the central recording system, where software tools complete data merging, quality control, storage management, and final project output.

Application
The RC-1C Seismic Vibration Sensor is used in a wide range of geophysical and engineering scenarios. In resource exploration, it supports 2D and 3D seismic surveys for oil, natural gas, and coal, especially where large channel counts and rapid deployment are required. For engineering investigations, the system provides reliable data for subsurface structure analysis, geological hazard detection, and microtremor studies. Its cable-free design allows efficient work in urban areas, mountains, forests, farmland, and industrial sites. The long-duration recording capability also makes it suitable for ambient vibration monitoring and passive-source surveys that require extended operation.

Why Choose the RC-1C Seismic Vibration Sensor?
The RC-1C Seismic Vibration Sensor simplifies field operations by eliminating cables, reducing the number of crew members required, and streamlining logistics. Its autonomous node design improves acquisition efficiency, minimizes troubleshooting, and enhances data integrity by storing raw recordings safely at each station. The long-duration battery system decreases the need for frequent retrieval, especially in large or inaccessible survey areas. Wireless QC capability reduces operational risks and shortens turnaround time between shots. By integrating autonomous nodes, long-duration power supply, and cable-free deployment, the RC-1C provides a practical solution for large-scale seismic surveys-delivering stable data acquisition, simplified field operations, and lower overall project cost.
