The Underground Water Detector from Rancheng Machinery is a high-precision, multi-channel resistivity system designed for fast, reliable groundwater exploration. The 16-channel model is the primary version, with a 32-channel option available for users requiring higher-density data and broader survey lines.

Setup & Operation
1. Starting a New Survey
Tap "New Measurement" and enter the survey line name (supports Chinese, English, and numbers; special characters not allowed).
Confirm to enter the measurement parameter settings page.
2. Setting Measurement Depth
Choose your desired exploration depth. The default is the maximum measurable depth of the device, with multiple depth options available for different field requirements.
3. Selecting Measurement Mode
Two modes are supported:
MN electrode mode
TT electromagnetic probe mode
The system automatically detects the connected sensor type.
4. Choosing Number of Channels
Whether using the 16-channel or 32-channel cable, you may freely select which channels to activate-allowing flexible configuration for varying terrains and survey lengths.
5. Adjusting Stacking (Signal Averaging)
Higher stacking counts provide stronger anti-interference performance and more stable data. Although stacking increases measurement time, it ensures cleaner signals in noisy environments.

Imaging & Plotting Functions
2D / 3D Contour Mapping
Once enough points have been collected, the "Plot" button becomes active. Selecting "Contour Map" generates a detailed 2D or 3D view of subsurface resistivity.
You can switch between 2D and 3D at the top toolbar and save the plot directly into the system file storage.
Curve Plotting
Selecting "Curve Chart" generates depth-based curves. Users can pick any depth for visualization and save the curve image for reporting or analysis.
Useful Tip
For best results, complete the full survey line before generating plots to ensure consistent and accurate data processing.

User-Friendly Guidance
1. Ensure sufficient battery power before each job; turn off the device after use.
2. Avoid impacts, moisture, and heavy vibration to protect electronic components.
3. Clean electrodes and sensors after each survey and store them in a dry, ventilated environment.
4. Check connections if the system prompts measurement errors.
