DC Resistivity Meter For Tungsten Mine
Details
The WDJD-4A DC Resistivity Meter for Tungsten Mine combines direct-current resistivity and induced-polarization measurement for surface mineral exploration. It collects resistivity, apparent polarizability and metal-factor data to help geologists investigate electrical anomalies associated with tungsten and polymetallic mineralization. A high-power transmitting system with optional WDZ-5B rectifier is available for surveys in high-resistivity and hard-rock formations. Multiple electrode arrangements allow the instrument to adapt to different exploration profiles and geological targets. With built-in protection functions and compatible processing software, the WDJD-4A provides a practical field system for identifying geophysical anomalies and selecting areas for further mineral exploration.

DC Resistivity Meter for Tungsten Mine 3

The WDJD-4A DC Resistivity Meter for Tungsten Mine is designed for surface geophysical exploration of metallic and polymetallic mineral deposits.

During mineral exploration, drilling every potentially interesting area can quickly increase project costs. A DC resistivity and induced-polarization survey provides a way to investigate a larger area first and identify electrical anomalies that deserve further geological attention.

WDJD-4A measures DC resistivity and induced-polarization responses through an electrode system installed along the survey area. In addition to conventional resistivity data, the instrument can collect parameters such as apparent polarizability and metal factor. These datasets can then be processed and compared with geological information to evaluate anomalous zones.

For demanding hard-rock projects, the WDJD-4A can be paired with a WDZ-5B rectifier power source to provide a higher-power transmitting configuration. This is useful when the target is relatively deep or the surrounding formation has high electrical resistance.

The system can be supplied with the main instrument, transmitting power source, electrodes, survey cables and processing software, providing the equipment needed for a complete surface resistivity/IP exploration workflow.

Why Choose WDJD-4A DC Resistivity Meter for Tungsten Mine?

The WDJD-4A DC Resistivity Meter for Tungsten Mine is built for exploration teams that need more than a basic resistivity measurement.

More Information From One Survey

Instead of collecting resistivity data alone, WDJD-4A combines resistivity with IP measurement. Apparent polarizability and metal-factor results provide additional information when evaluating mineral-related anomalies.

Suitable for Pre-Drilling Exploration

The system allows exploration teams to investigate selected areas before committing to drilling. Geophysical results can help narrow down areas that deserve additional geological verification.

Designed for Hard-Rock Conditions

Tungsten and polymetallic exploration often involves mountainous terrain and resistive rock formations. The optional WDZ-5B rectifier provides a higher-power configuration for more demanding survey conditions.

Practical for Field Teams

Built-in protection functions, multiple electrode configurations and compatible processing software simplify the workflow from field measurement to anomaly analysis.

Configurable for Different Projects

The WDJD-4A can be supplied as a basic instrument or as a complete mineral exploration package with power source, electrodes, cables and software.

How to Select the Right WDJD-4A DC Resistivity Meter for Tungsten Mine Configuration

The configuration should be based on the actual exploration conditions rather than simply choosing the highest-power option.

  • For general surface mineral reconnaissance:

The standard WDJD-4A configuration with electrodes, cables and processing software is usually sufficient.

  • For tungsten exploration in hard-rock mountain areas:

The WDJD-4A with the WDZ-5B rectifier power source is recommended when higher transmitting power is required.

  • For deeper exploration targets:

Consider the target depth, ground resistivity and electrode spread before selecting the power configuration and cable length.

  • For large exploration areas:

Discuss the required survey-line arrangement and electrode spacing with us so the cable and accessory configuration can be matched to the project.
