Products Description

The RCWD-9 IP survey equipment is a complete induced polarization (IP) survey system for mineral exploration and geological investigation. It consists of the WDA-1 DC IP main unit, WDZJ-120 multi-electrode switcher, and PDN-500 inverter high-voltage power supply, together with high-density cables, copper electrodes, and testing accessories.
Combining resistivity and induced polarization measurements, the IP survey system collects subsurface electrical data for mineral exploration, geological structure analysis, and identification of potential mineralized zones. It supports multiple electrode arrays and survey methods, making the IP survey equipment suitable for different field conditions and 2D/3D geophysical surveys.

Working Principle
The RCWD-9 IP survey system injects controlled DC current into the ground through the AB electrodes during an induced polarization survey. Polarizable materials in the subsurface produce a chargeability response during and after current injection. The instrument measures the polarization voltage after the current is switched off while simultaneously collecting resistivity data for geophysical survey and mineral exploration.
The multi-electrode switcher automatically changes electrode combinations to collect multiple sets of subsurface electrical data. The survey software processes and inverts the data to generate 2D or 3D resistivity and chargeability models. These results help identify geological anomalies, potential mineralized zones, and underground structures, providing valuable reference for mineral exploration and drilling target selection.
