The Borewell Scanning Camera is developed for detailed visual inspection of borewells, pipe piles, and underground structures. It integrates front-view HD imaging with 360° sidewall scanning to deliver continuous panoramic views of the entire borehole.

The system enables full-depth recording of internal conditions, allowing operators to clearly identify cracks, corrosion, deformation, joint issues, and other structural anomalies. It also supports accurate defect measurement, providing reliable data for engineering evaluation and maintenance planning.

Beyond borewell applications, this equipment is suitable for large-diameter pipelines, oil wells, and geotechnical investigations requiring high-quality internal imaging.

System Configuration of Borewell Scanning Camera

Main Control System

The control unit is built with a durable ABS housing, designed for field operation and long-term use. It integrates multiple functional interfaces, including probe connection, depth sensor input, and data entry ports, allowing operators to record borewell information such as location and well number directly during inspection.

A 12-inch high-brightness LED monitor ensures clear visibility even under outdoor conditions. The system supports real-time video display and optional SD card recording, making it easy to store and review inspection data. Depth zeroing and calibration functions are included to maintain accurate measurement throughout the operation.

Winch and Lifting System

The Borewell Scanning Camera is equipped with an electric winch driven by a permanent magnet DC motor, allowing smooth and controlled lifting of the probe. Operators can easily adjust speed and direction directly from the control box.

A downhole pulley system assists with depth tracking when connected to the control unit. The detachable winch design improves portability, while the integrated structure allows quick setup in different working environments. Interchangeable probe connections also make it convenient to switch between different probe sizes.

Logging Cable

The system uses a customized logging cable designed for both strength and flexibility. With a load capacity of up to 260 kg and an outer diameter of 8 mm, it ensures stable probe operation even in deep borewells.

The cable performs reliably under temperatures up to 65°C, making it suitable for various geological and environmental conditions.

Rotation Camera Probe

The camera probe is engineered for high-resolution borewell inspection, featuring a compact structure and robust materials such as optional 304 stainless steel housing.

It supports 360° side-view rotation, allowing continuous scanning of the borehole wall. Equipped with a high-definition CCD camera and low-light capability, it delivers clear imaging even in dark environments. Adjustable LED lighting with multi-level brightness control ensures optimal visibility under different conditions.

The probe is designed to withstand high pressure, making it suitable for deep borewell applications. Multiple probe sizes are available to match different borehole diameters.

Depth Measurement System
