Recently, a 16-channel groundwater detector has been successfully shipped to a customer in Europe. The equipment will be used for groundwater exploration and site investigation projects, with a detection depth of up to 300 meters.
Compared with traditional single-channel instruments, the 16-channel groundwater detector collects multiple signals simultaneously. While a single-channel device can only capture one set of signals at a time, this system measures 16 channels at once. This significantly improves field efficiency, increasing data collection speed by more than ten times.
The system adopts a multi-channel simultaneous input measurement method, which helps obtain a stable field source and reduces the influence of natural electric field fluctuations at different moments. It also avoids errors caused by repeatedly moving electrodes along the same survey line. During data acquisition, multiple channels cross-verify signals and automatically eliminate abnormal data, improving detection reliability. In many field applications, the detection accuracy can be 30–50% higher than that of conventional single-channel equipment.
The instrument shows strong resistance to electromagnetic interference. It can operate steadily in environments such as mining areas, urban locations, and regions with strong electrical noise. Under complex geological conditions, the system can still obtain clearer signals and reach deeper effective detection depths.
By completing multi-dimensional measurements with a single layout, the equipment reduces repeated drilling points and frequent equipment relocation, helping shorten project timelines and lower operational costs.
