A 700-meter downhole camera ordered by our customer in Asia has completed container loading and is now ready for shipment. The delivery supports the customer's ongoing drilling and geological exploration projects.
The downhole camera is designed for visual inspection of various well types, including drilling wells, water wells, oil and gas wells, geological exploration boreholes, and municipal inspection wells. By lowering the camera unit into the well, real-time images are transmitted to a surface display terminal, allowing operators to observe downhole conditions directly without entering the well.
This equipment is mainly used to inspect drilling well walls and subsurface formations. It enables clear identification of rock lithology, fractures, cavities, collapse areas, and loose debris within the borehole. The visual information helps confirm geological layer positions and provides reliable reference data for drilling design verification and on-site construction plan adjustments.
The camera unit selected for this order is built for demanding downhole environments. It features waterproof construction, high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and stable operation under high-temperature conditions, ensuring consistent image quality during deep-well inspections.
Compared with traditional evaluation methods that rely largely on indirect data and experience, downhole visual inspection allows for more accurate assessment of well conditions. This improves decision-making efficiency during drilling and exploration operations.
After final inspection and secure packaging, the system was successfully loaded into the container and prepared for international transport. Upon arrival, it will be deployed to support the customer's field operations and technical analysis work.
