WTEM-3 Magnetometer Survey Equipment is developed for mineral exploration programs that require higher resolution and efficient data acquisition. Building on the long-term advancement of electromagnetic survey methods-from DC and IP techniques to TEM, MT, AMT, and CSAMT-the WTEM-3 provides a practical solution for detailed subsurface investigations.
The instrument features dense sampling and dual-channel acquisition, enabling the capture of subtle variations in electromagnetic responses. Its transmitter offers linear, controllable waveform turn-off, and with small coils, the turn-off can be controlled within a few microseconds, making the system well-suited for detecting shallow geological targets.
With timing synchronization upgraded from cable-based methods to quartz clock and GPS timing, the WTEM-3 Magnetometer Survey Equipment ensures stable and consistent measurements across various field conditions. Operating Notes
Power-on sequence: press Power ON → then Transmit.
Power-off sequence: press Stop → then Power OFF.
Supply current must not exceed 50 A; supply voltage must not exceed 150 V.
Total power must remain under 3 kW to avoid damaging the IGBT module.
Adjust transmission frequency and sampling time to control detection depth efficiently.
