Product Description
WTEM-3Q is a compact and integrated Transient Electromagnetic Equipment developed by Ranchen Group for shallow subsurface investigations. The system combines the WTEM-2J transient electromagnetic receiver with the WTEM-1X low-power transmitter into a single integrated unit, forming a practical solution for field-based transient electromagnetic surveys.
Designed for efficient field deployment, this Transient Electromagnetic Equipment integrates transmitting, receiving, and control functions in one system, simplifying equipment setup and reducing cable connections during surveys. The design draws on practical experience from both domestic and international shallow TEM systems while focusing on stability and operational efficiency in field conditions.
The WTEM-3Q features relatively high transmitting power, ultra-fast current turn-off, and strong operational reliability. It also offers strong resistance to environmental noise, including atmospheric interference and 50/60 Hz power-frequency noise, helping maintain stable data acquisition during surveys.
With its lightweight structure and low power consumption, the system is suitable for a variety of field environments. This Transient Electromagnetic Equipment can be used in groundwater exploration, shallow geological investigation, engineering surveys, and other subsurface detection tasks where portable and efficient TEM measurements are required.

Key Features
Integrated Design
Combines transmitter and receiver functions in one portable unit. The receiver can also operate with external transmitters for extended-depth surveys using cable, GPS, or hybrid synchronization.
Energy-Efficient & Reliable
Engineered circuitry, effective heat dissipation, and a sealed rugged housing ensure stable operation under demanding field conditions with minimal power consumption.
Wireless Operation
A tablet interface communicates via Bluetooth, enabling remote setup, measurement control, and real-time data review within 10 meters of the receiver.
Robust Anti-Interference
Hardware filters, precise frequency control, and advanced data stacking suppress noise from natural sources or industrial power lines, ensuring high-quality results.
Flexible Measurement Channels
Multi-channel configuration supports linear or logarithmic spacing. High-precision timing maintains accurate time-depth correlation for reliable interpretation.
Fast Turn-Off Transmitter
Rapid transmitter shutoff extends detection range in shallow surveys. Recorded turn-off times support precise data inversion and modeling.
Versatile Survey Modes
Supports both stationary point measurements and continuous profiling, enabling efficient coverage of survey areas.
Wide Depth Range
Capable of resolving features from a few meters to several hundred meters, adapting to diverse shallow-depth exploration needs.
User-Friendly Interface
The tablet-based control system allows full parameter setup, live data display, storage, and real-time curve plotting for seamless field operations.

Application
The WTEM-3Q transient electromagnetic equipment enables mineral and coal exploration teams to quickly locate and map ore bodies, delineate mineralized zones, and evaluate shallow structures, helping clients make faster decisions for drilling and resource assessment while reducing survey time. In oil, gas, and geothermal surveys, WTEM-3Q provides reliable near-surface data for early-stage reconnaissance, fault and fracture mapping, and reservoir boundary analysis, supporting more accurate planning and field development. For hydrogeological studies, the system allows precise aquifer detection, groundwater evaluation, and water resource management, delivering high-resolution results that enhance sustainable water use and project efficiency.
